He measured in at 6'9 1/2..not a big deal, only an inch or so extra. His wingspan is not bad, so he is still good for the 4 in the NBA.

do you think Green is strong enough to play the 4 consistently? ie on the defensive end?about the only bad thing to say about his offense is that he can be too passive and pass to much rather than take his shot.Still he would be a solid pick if not trade offer becomes abundantly available.please Ainge just don't take Yi or Conley Jr.

I don't think we would draft Brandan Wright even if he did slip. We won't take a project 4 who has questioned work ethic and weighs less than Gerald Green.

Green can play the 4 in the NBA. Full-time 4? Not right now, no. But think Lamar Odom, he doesn't have to be a 4 that bangs down low and posts up like Jefferson. He'd spread the floor, give us another creator out there, and add versatility to the club.

He's passive, eh... I think a lot of that had to do with Georgetown's Princeton style offense, where it held him back to the point where he was not allowed to create for himself.

Also, don't worry about Ainge taking Conley. If you are watching the draft and you see Conley taken at 5, that means that it is part of a trade (and by that point, Andy Katz would have already told us on TV before the pick has been made).

Odom, the only Laker I like. Green does have a lot of tools and if Horford ain't there, he would be a solid pick for sure.Ainge does do well with the draft I should give him credit for that.I just hope he doesn't overthink the pick and talk himself outta drafting the best big man available.Noah is another player I'm kinda thinking about more.he's either gonna be an effective energy player who can defend most centers and PF's rebound and move well and get easy baskets because he is a savy player.ORHe's gonna be one of those effective college players, who's heart a hustle is not enough to play at the NBA level because his talent isn't up to par. He'll be outquicked and or out muscled when he plays D and his offense will never get any better. He'll be that 8th man off the bench.NOT what you want from a draft pick.I really can't decide which way he's gonna go. Sure he's done well in work outs etc., but so did steven hunter.

Scal has played a small amount at the 3, but he's usually at the 4. Hell, positioning doesn't even matter in Doc's "system," we've seen Gerald Green at the 5 with Allan Ray at the 3.
