I'm So SICK & TIRED of Neil Olshey

Wrong, it means you got to enjoy quite a few regular season games. It still takes a successful regular season to even sniff the playoffs.Without that it's "What playoffs?"

 

No, good regular seasons only count if you're not the Blazers. How's that for some twisted logic.

 

So you pay $40,000+ every year to enjoy a few regular season game?! Hahahaha... wow, talk about bad investments... $200,000+ over the last 5 years to enjoy a few regular season games and you are happy with Neil... wow! Think of what else $200,000 could buy?!

 

How often we played against Teams missing their best Players or Key Players? I tell you Guys, Next year will be much much more difficult because we will not have that luck again, allmost every Team will be healthy and then we see how for real that 3rd was

 

It's significantly more than $40,000 and it's a bad investment for you because you don't have that kind of money and aren't a true fan if you get your kicks out of ragging on the Blazers every time things don't go your way perfectly.

Me? I enjoy basketball and especially the Blazers. Can't wait for next season.

 

I’m a die hard fan actually... but I’m not gonna blindly financially support a bad product... I watch every game, but I want accountability before I spend money. And I’m well off financially FYI... maybe I don’t make enough to blow $40k plus on Blazers tickets... but if I did have that kind of disposable income I’d look for charity to donate to instead of lining Paul Allen’s pockets.

You are trying to make points that simply aren't true. When you ask questions that imply this roster is too precious to ever make a major change and our GM can't make trades like others do there are two statements I can make to refute that.

1) Olshey has made trades for guys like Plumlee, Nurkic, RoLo, Napier, Harkless, and Afflalo.

2) Dame, CJ, and Leonard are the only guys out of 15 that have been here longer than 3 seasons.

I know you don't like CJ but just because Olshey hasn't traded him doesn't mean he doesn't make trades and never makes major changes.

 

My god people, NO ONE is saying that there shouldn't be a single change made and that the same 15 guys, GM, and coach should all come back next year.

 

What was the difference between the third and sixth seed, ONE game?

Except the same people that use it as an excuse that Blazers were only 1 game better than Pelicans also tout the 3rd seed as a major regular season accomplishment... even tho Blzers were 3 games from being completely out of playoffs

 

Winning 49 games with this roster is an accomplishment.

3 games from missing the playoffs? Once again... context. Good teams missed the playoffs. It was a stacked conference.

 

I don’t think anybody ever asked you to. Why be a fan of something that makes you so angry?

 

That’s a joke... the regular season was a fluke... we played almost every game with opponents best player out... the playoffs show Blazers were just a mirage. Couldn’t even win 1 game vs Pelicans... and down at least 15 points in 3 of 4 games

 

Nobody asked you if you were, but since you brought it up........ tell us more please.

All that told me was that the Pelicans were a better team, or at least built to slow our strengths. Not every team has two defensive guards like Holiday and Rondo or a guy like AD. If you think we would’ve gotten similarly swept against say OKC, you’re clueless.

In this case, Olshey is right when he says 81 games is a better sample than 4.
