I think he's pretty close. It would be interesting if they were to exchange teams. I foubt there wold be much of a change. Curry has had the fortune of playing with a stronger roster.
Curry is certainly the more accurate shooter, probably the best in league history, but that’s about the only advantage I’d give him. Comparing stats is kind of pointless since Steph consistently plays on teams with multiple All-Stars, while Dame has played with fewer guys who demand the attention of the opposing defense like Durant, Thompson and Green can.
I'll say it. Without Steph, Green and Klay would not be allstars. I love what Dame has done as a Blazer, I think he's great and maybe close to steph in terms of all around games, but Stephs shooting ability is Shaq esque dominance, like Shaq back in the early 2000's. Theres really no other player in the NBA today who has one skill that dominates games the way Steph does. If you watch GS when steph is on the court teams are so scared of him shooting from literally just about any where half court and closer that the rest of those guys have lanes, and space that no other team has. Dame has similar range in terms of where he's comfortable shooting, but he's not as accurate as Steph. Again Dame is great this isn't a knock on him, when you include athleticism, passing, the all round games you can have a conversation there, but Stephs shooting is so good it covers for a whole lot of things out there.
Based on the thread title, it sounds like the OP is tired of winning. Please, please President Dame, no more winning! I can't take all this winning!
