I look at it in the sense that I have gained a lot of respect for Udonis Haslem and the help defense of Miami as opposed to losing respect for Dirk. That's not saying Dirk didn't play bad and have screw ups, but it wasn't just him missing, it was also how the defense played him. Now a great player should be able to get over that, Dirk had never had a team guard him like that before, and hopefully for next season he'll be able to get over it.

If people look at his career, KG has always been a good "Dirk stopper". Dirk had problems with the SF's last season, so this season he learnt to post them up and beat them, but when you have a guy like Haslem who plays him like a PF, which means more physical, is quick enough to stop him off the dribble, strong enough so Dirk can't just post him, and is athletic enough to challenge his shots, then it becomes hard. KG is also a guy who has all that and even more because of his height and length advantage over a guy like Udonis.

With the whole height thing. Posey is 6'8 with long arms, Haslem is 6'8, Tmac is 6'10. Another thing that hindered Dirk is Miami's long defense with Wade and Posey, they were able to deny passing lanes and not let Dirk get the ball in spots he's more comfortable in. Again, not an excuse, but let's not take credit away from the defenders.
