Media guys are walking back defending Ime....apparently it's much, much worse than originally reported. Baffled the team hasn't fired him and fully expect him to resign soon. He's ruined his career more than likely and hopefully hasn't ruined a lot of other people's at the same time.
You can’t spell Ime without “I” and “me”. Which…. To be frank…. is fitting in this situation in which he was clearly selfish.
So...after clearly and repeatedly describing this as a consensual relationship, the organization is now changing their story? SMH.
There are statements that he was given multiple chances to stop the behavior and he did not. Yeah i believe there is more to it than we know?
If he's let go, Portland could hire him as an assistant. It'd be great for both basketball reasons and the crazy public outcry it would cause.
At this point, it would be better to just come out with the truth because trying to hide what happened it making it so much worse for every woman with the organization.
I just hope Ime wasn’t planning something more. Like, how to get rid of his wife? Of course I’m sure the punishment would be much higher if that was the case. The whole situation is just bazaar.
