Immortal Tech is more of a lyricist. Which is fine. His flow is fine, it isnt the best i've heard, but he is a genius with Lyrics.

But I definitely don't think he is the best of our generation when you look at most people's top 10 list, and outside of Pun, Big L (best of all time), Pac, Biggie, Eazy E, you see Eminem, Nas, Jay-Z, Rakim, etc...

Then people like Kool G Rap, Royce, Canibus, all of Wu Tang (lol) are bad ass as well.

But of course, it is all opinion. I know a ton of people who say Immortal is best alive, so w/e.

    Meh.

I was talking to ABM recently and when he used to live in Atlanta he had a talk one time with an older black man and was given a history of rap. Turns out the old timers don;t like the new crap as well as they feel it is a putrification of what it was supposed to be.

Me, it just doesn't do anything for me. I like jazz. Give me some Miles Davis or Frankie...

I understand, but the very reason why I like Tech opposed to someone like Jay Z and Ludacris, is that he hasn't sold his soul to the same things he talks about, however the people you say have better flow, they may do but, they are rapping about bitches, and bling, and collaborating with fucking Justin Bieber! There is no true creative material in mainstream music period, and its gotten worse ever year.

Just watch this very insightful interview, and you'll get his true point of view.
