Fact is the Mueller report will bring Trump down once he's not shrouded in executive privilege....New York City will pounce on the dude first chance they get..he's going to face a lot of litigation once he's out of DC. He has yet to resolve his unregistered Trump University law suits for selling fake degrees. That's just a start. Emoluments infractions will follow. He's got a long list of those. As far as Joe Biden't son...wait until they check into Jared and Ivanka's overseas deals...and the trips for Trump's business organization taken on tax payer dollars with secret service protection. For a guy who spouts unabashed nationalism he sure keeps his money overseas in tax shelters.

yeah, just imagine what Ivanka, Eric, Don Jr and Jared are doing and how many deals they have going right now that involves their connection to the President. Off the charts. Again, I have absolutely NO problem taking Biden and his son to task on whatever they have done with Ukraine or China or whatever. Fuck em. Dont care. Clean it up top to bottom, left to right. But I have a hunch Biden's son hasnt done nearly as much as Trumps kids.

What's funny is that Biden and his son have already been investigated and nothing was ever came out of it, yet we all know the playbook trump uses and that's to deflect his issues on to someone else.

And don't forget about Benghazi and the email server and... Oh, wait. ;)

All I'm saying is that getting rich and powerful people out of office or prosecuted is a tough row to hoe. The glee I've seen here from Dems is just about exactly what I saw from the Repubs when they were just totally sure that Hillary would actually be locked up. I'm sure that Trump will spend the rest of his days in legal actions. It's possible that they actually get him on something and I certainly won't cry for him when his jumpsuit is orange and his face is pasty white.

It was interesting to watch the DNI testify before Schiff's committee. Schiff is a strange dude, simply a wonder how the guy gets elected. But, that is what ever it is.
The funny part is the dude seems to be the Bus, that the dem will throw Joe under.
The only reason this hearing was held with the DNI today, is because the President agreed to let it happen. No Executive privilege used, nothing. Just that the President agreed to let it happen, go for it!

Investigate until you find, Joe is the one dirty as hell. Perhaps not to the Schiffs or other hard core Dems, but enough of the electorate.
Goodbye Joe, we got to go...

Anyone who still supports trump is clearly anti-democracy and doesn’t care about the country.

We have a mob boss as president suggesting physical harm to the whistleblower

Fuck anyone who voted for this piece of shit

Don’t care about any magas response

It's a grouponal insult, not a personal insult.

Or maybe it was an offer to have sex with anyone who voted for Trump.

I know you and I could go round and round on this but isn't that racism, stereotypes, homophobia, etc, etc. I love the work you do and what you put up with is pretty astonishing sometimes, but group insults are just as bad IMO as a personal one, because a group insult is a personal insult it's just a way to insult a bunch of people personally in a quicker way.

I get wanting to cut down on moderating all of us like were adolescents, but essentially to me its saying, racist homophobic, sexist comments, etc, etc are ok. Just dont single out one person.

Anyways thats enough derailing for me.

I get what you're saying and it is an ongoing discussion and concern with staff.

Here's the problem, how do we write a rule that is fair, easy to understand, and easy to enforce?

I see posts in here insulting both liberals and conservatives as a group.

But also I see posts insulting Laker, Duck, and Beaver fans.

Do we put a ton of qualifiers on which groups can be insulted or not insulted?

But more importantly, does the occasional group insult cause long ugly arguments between two people that will cause hard feelings and ruin a thread for everyone? That's pretty much the reason for the Personal Insult rule. It derails threads and it ends up being a bunch of crap that everyone but the two people who are going at it don't care about.

All of that said, if group insults become a problem then we will address it. But right now it's more of an annoyance than a problem.

I've told you this many times before, this is a Blazer forum. If you are looking for this site to satisfy your love of Trump or any political candidate or leader then you are going to be very disappointed. If people are leaving because their Trump needs aren't being satisfied in a basketball forum then it's probably for the best they moved on to a place that does.
