If Rudy acted like a punk ass bitch after injuring somebody, I'd feel ashamed he was a Blazer. And if Ariza was carted off on a stretcher I'd be genuinely concerned for his health.
Actually, the worse the team, the easier it is to be a homer. After all, if your team is really good, it's not being a homer to compliment them. Listen to Pete Pranica announce a Memphis game sometime. You'll wonder why they're not already crowned champions. It seems this forum is a bit too advanced for you. I think you need a more remedial place. Try this one: www.lakersground.net
Again, Ariza had no time to do anything after he landed because Roy was on him. Maybe if Roy was not such a shitty teammate that he didn't even check Rudy, Ariza would have done so instead.
Appreciate your concern, but I don't like it much there. For example, over there, I wouldn't be able to call you *edited: You can't make personal attacks here, either*
I do not think that Ariza is a scum, dirty, low-life (but he did receive the F-2 which he deserved on this stupid play) - but I most certainly have had aversion to most of the real Jail-Blazers era Blazers - if Rudy or any other Blazers player is a scum it would be idiotic of me not to acknowledge it. Bonzi Wells was scum, Q-Wood was scum, Rasheed was an idiot, Z-Bo was an idiot, Damon was an idiot - to ignore their acts and behave as if they were not the scum or idiots that they were would be... well, stupid. Just like it would be to ignore the big question mark of Kobe's past, Odom's fake thuggery or pretend that Ariza's foul was not dangerous and that his behavior after it was not moronic.
thanks for not answering my question after I took the time to answer yours... I'll know better next time STOMP
If that's the case, why even attempt a hard foul? hey, the guy might land awkwardly, and before you know it, you are suspended for 5-10 games. Bad idea. Sorry, you can't just assume Ariza had a "dirty" intent when even your own commentators stated he was going for the ball. Are you basically saying when a player is airborn, he shouldn't be touched?
My feelings exactly, he just skipped over my two "reasonable" posts... I realize now that he's not really looking for "reasonable" exchange he just wants to continue to the same stuff as yesterday. I don't even know why I gave him the benefit of a doubt. That took about 5 minutes of my life I can't get back after responding to what I thought was a legitimate (albeit poorly phrased) question. On that note, it's game day and we're playing Dallas... GO BLAZERS!!!
I want an honest answer. What the f**k were you thinking when you posted the comment in my signature? YOU started this to some degree.
Please reread the quote you were responding to. He said ..."you've seen NONE of that on the L*ker forums"... referring to concern from Laker posters for Rudy's well being. I actually went over there this morning to poke around and saw one poster repeatedly expressed concern for Rudy in the game thread when it was happening so... STOMP
I PM'd Toko to try and get an answer to the question that he has ignored at least three times in this thread.
In a parallel world, the Blazers seemingly don't have a big enough douche bag on their roster to pull off a foul like that and then gloat about it in the immediate aftermath while the opponent is laid out on the floor. Meanwhile, the Lakers have Odom, one of the bigger douches in the league, and Ariza, who seems to be learning the art of being douchey from master Odom. So it's a stupid question and a stupid thread.
I'm not for banning people but putting something this stupid in a signature without there ok with even knowing how you would feel about it is just wrong. I can't believe he is still here. If he put that is my sig I'm out of here and never checking the forum again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's wrong of me to quote a public post in my signature? WTF? BTW, he answered my PM, and I just asked him for permission to post it in the public forum.
I don't hand around much in LG these days, so I'll have to take your word for it. Honestly though, my own impression is that if any Lakers got hurt, there would be more than a few posters here gloating.
