Well, again, if you go back to some of my posts I didn't want anyone to get suspended but if one thing is clear in this league it's the leaving the bench rule. They apply that rule pretty consistently. Honestly did that suspension really surprise you? I'm not being sarcastic in asking that. And it was the Blazers that ended up with the majority of the technical fouls after the "skirmish", it sucks but I think the referees had to do that to regain control of the game. And the first play after the game was restarted they called a travel on LaMarcus, it was a legitimate call but I was ready to punch the TV.
So I out of 100+ Portland posters. What percentage of the posters is that? (I will wait, I know it might take you a little while) How does that percentage compare to Lakers posters? And you don't even link it. Did you bother to look for counter views?
the suspension was well deserved. My point is that no blazer fan should want it anyway, because it hurts you just as much, if not more, than it hurts the Lakers.
So Blazer fans should be against NBA rules when it benefits the Blazers? I guess I'm just not that big of a homer.
Never did I say it was the majority, though without counting, I think it was a vocal group of fans. This threads point was to admit that all fans have some kind of a bias, and that realistically, if the tables were reversed, blazer fans would be acting the same(or very similar) to how Lakers fans are.
That's a nice little strawman you've constructed. Perhaps you should stick to insulting players taken to the hospital by D-bag Ariza. It's in your wheelhouse.
I don't give a s**t about Lamar Odom, one way or another. Break the rules; sit on bench. Pretty cut and dry.
We're all familiar with trolls and their sad pathology. http://www.kuro5hin.org/story/2004/5/15/19332/5961 As for riling me, he has yet to raise my pulse above 54. I just enjoy someone willingly demonstrating how little they really know about the subject at hand.
If we keep winning it doesn't hurt us (the Suns are 7 games behind us in the loss column), we're just using you for play off position.
And the Blazer fans you're talking to right here and right now would respectfully disagree that we would act the same.
Well, that was a dirty play. Afterward, he refused to show remorse. It's obvious to anyone that with the game already lost, he was going to take cheap shots. That speaks volumes about his character. Then again, when your team captain is a rapist, it's hard to find quality role models on the L*kers.
A vocal group of fans posted that Kobe Bryant took out Bynum to get more attention for himself? You're in the wrong place. You need to be sitting with Obama trying to solve the economic crisis. I mean, what sort of off-the-charts intellect does it take to figure out that one may find bias on a team board? First, as I explained, I really don't think the Blazers bring the same level of douchiness as the Lakers do, so it wouldn't happen. If a hard foul did happen, I imagine you'd see a Farmar-like reaction of concern, and not an Ariza-like reaction of prancing, preening, and yelling. Also, I wouldn't be visiting the Laker board anyway, so for me, your entire argument doesn't apply.
