    Do they still have the A&W in Oregon City? 9ish years ago when I lived over there they did.

    Looks like they do but it's a newer one.

    The one in Sweet Home was the old school style with car hops and the trays you stick on your car window.

    There was a Hamburger Patty's on NE Fremont probably around 26th or so? Prettry good burgers as my parents and I would often go there after my ball game. Another one I enjoyed was the Harvest House on 60th and Halsey (been closed for several years ) as they had a condiment bar to make your hamburger how you wanted it. Then the top local place nearbye me was Stanich's Tavern as it was close to my dads shop on Cully Blvd.. The Stanich Burger was great with burger, egg and ham on the sandwich.

    Then it caused them to shut down. CRAZY ASS STORY actually. Parents used to take me there as a kid all the time. Weird story.

    There was a burger place with the same (or very similar) name in the Hollywood District for awhile in the sixties. It had a railroad theme, and if you sat at the counter your food was delivered by a large(r) scale electric train. Great burger too. Not sure if it was related or not.

    My dad did. His daughter is a few years younger than me and knows my little brother and sister. I know exactly where two of my pennants are hanging on the wall that I gave them to this day.,

    My claim to fame is he use to post the PIL all league teams fom the newspaper up on his wall. It was pretty cool.

    Which is fine, but the OG A&Ws are the best. Get a root bear float or a peanut butter milkshake and your mind will be blown.
