I don't think it's as big a deal when the GM doesn't try to be the High Priest and Grand Poo-bah of said cult. I think adoration of Cho from afar is ok...he's not the type to let it go to his head, it seems.

I think that Larry Miller has some compromising pictures of Jordan that make Charlie Sheen look sane. Hence, this lopsided trade, which begets Miller showing up leading off the presser grinning like the Cheshire Cat. ;)

Seems like a strawman. When did KP ever let anything go to his head?

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Wojnarowski reported that he was arrogant. What more evidence is necessary?

If you couldn't see Pritchard's arrogance, you're blind. Through all that Oregonian worship, he never turned it down. Never said, cut it out. Just smiled and kept encouraging it. No humility. He loved having a personality cult. Look at how normal Cho is. Like a regular adult, he wants no part of that.

As for the rest of the thread, neither Pritchard nor Cho deserve much credit for their trades. None of those trades would have happened without Paul Allen taking on big salaries that the other owners shun.

Well we got Gerald Wallace. He has more plans as he got quoted in the oregonlive notes.
I trust him, and it won't be a flashy guy with a big name.

Clearly Mitch Kupchak and Danny Ainge deserve no credit for the trades that led to the last three NBA champions, since those trades also would never have happened without their teams' owners taking on big salaries that the other owners shunned.

Maybe my prediction was right? Just a little early. I will tell u one thing... If you want playoffs... We better go 3-0 this week.

Cho gets the public credit as GM; that's his job. But, he didn't make the trade alone or in a vacuum. He was part of a collective team at Blazers facility and with PA's direct approval. PA's wallet allowed us to take on more $. They also knew that MJ was in a financial pinch and needed to get rid of contract of GW.

It worked for us this time; trading bit pieces for serious starters is always fun when you're on the right side of the deal.

    HAHAHAHAHA!

Maybe a little early? Way to go out on a limb there. Yeah, the season will be over at some point, either after 82 games or the playoffs. Nice work.
