Actually, it might not even take that long.

When Golden State hosts Detroit tonight, it will be the second installment in the club's season-long, seven-game homestand. Between now and Dec. 2, the Warriors will hit the road just once -- heading to Denver on the day after Thanksgiving -- against 10 games at Oracle Arena.

The Warriors can't clinch a playoff spot during that stretch, but they can go a long way toward kicking away their hopes for one if they don't pile up the victories.

"They're very critical," Warriors guard Jason Richardson said. "This is our longest homestand. This is homecourt advantage. We need to get some wins before we head out on the road."

Huge seven game homestand for the Warriors. They are off to a great start winning the first two. They need to win atleast 5 of the 7 IMO. 6 would be great. We definately need to win at home if we want any shot at making the playoffs and they made a HUGE step towards making this a great homestand last night against the Pistons.

    Toronto - W
Sacramento - W/L (Either way. Are they a road team? Artest could lock down Richardson, but who guards the guards? They don't have a center do they? Shareef can put numbers on the Warriors)
Seattle - W/L (either way, they beat Atlanta + they have Chris Wilcox who can be a Warriors killer and Rashard Lewis is hard to match up with)
Phoenix - W/L (Last in the division? Lost to Dallas? They could wake up once their line of forwards hits ours)
Denver - L (Melo, Camby, Nene hard to stop for us?)
    Denver - L (Road game)
    Utah - L (Boozer, Ak47, Okur)
San Antonio - L (Duncan + Parker + Ginobilli is a btch to guard + Bowen is always a problem on Jrich)
Indiana - W/L (either way, we've been beaten before without J.O. because of Stephen Jackson. Al Harrington might be a hard matchup, Danny Granger season high alert)

I think we could win at least 4 of the next 9 games.
