I'm a Blazer fan and a Jets fan. What's worse, IDK.

Have the Blazers eclipsed the record for upper body injuries in a season?

We should have the entire team wear boxing gloves and shoulder pads next year. We'd shoot like 3% but at least we wouldn't have all these injuries.

Ugh. Fuck this season right up it's injury riddled ass.

I just want to kick, scream and throw a three year old level temper tantrum at a grocery store right now.

Don't worry, Jones is still having issues and I would not be surprised if before the playoffs he gets re-evaluated to find out he's been more hurt than he's let on and he'll have to sit out for the playoffs. If not Jones, someone else will probably go down the way it's looking.

Rockets-Blazers would become a battle of attrition.

the only "silver lining" is the young guys getting a chance to breakout, we already have and are seeing it in CJ, Meyers playing well when given minutes and now Crabbe may get his chance, not how I'd prefer it to happen but this does have some future benefits

With Arron as our sixth man we coulduh been a contenduh.

Now, with all the injuries, its likely to be a 'developmental' playoffs. Which isn't all bad, if we can keep our team intact for next season.

Crabbe has a beautiful shot, and good athleticism, but he has a ways to go to develop game intelligence. Look for Crabbe to be next year's CJ.

I would start him next game and keep CJ coming off the bench. Crabbe has played well when starting and CJ brings the energy off the bench.

Not that we have much of a choice.......

In some ways, I like the no-pressure seasons where we kinda suck, because the young guys are often exciting. Not all years where we suck (there were some years where our young guys were awful too), but this year, I've released any pressure I might have put the team under in my own mind, and will just enjoy the ride for what it is: a chance to get our young guys battle-hardened.

Losing our shot due to injuries is beyond disappointing. But that's the way it is. All we can do is go forward and make the best of the situation. The silver lining is that we actually have good young players who will benefit from playing time, and they are about to get valuable playoff experience they otherwise might not get. This will serve us well for next season.
