Yeah, those are controlled ideal conditions. Last year, me and my cousins went to a beach in the philippines. I took my gopro with me they took some IPX7 devices (3 feet, 30 min) and we took them in the water not more than 100 feet from the beach. All of their devices eventually took a shit.
Plus applecare or the warranty don't cover water damage. If you take it and submerge that shit in the ocean, you're pretty much playing russian roulette with the phone. I'd put a waterproof case on it, even those fail.
No, it doesn't. It's still waterproof Up to a point. I don't think Apple wants to encourage people to put their phones underwater.
apple has little water sensors in all their devices that turn blue when wet. it's how they know you are trying to fvck them with warranty repairs
I have been using my bluetooth headsets with my iPhone for a little over two years and absolutely love them. Ya, my over the ear headsets I can plug in sound better, but there is an adapter, so I'm not sweating it. I have a travel bluetooth speaker I love and we use bluetooth we use at the house for our home stereo. This won't make me skip a beat and I'm a music junkie. Surprised some of you haven't moved onto Bluetooth already. Thought I'd miss the CD slot on my Macbook, but never looked back. Was at work today and because of the rave reviews of the camera, I ordered my iPhone 7+. And am trading in my 6+ for $275........ not a bad deal.
I pay a little extra a month to T-Mobile. I get to upgrade my phones 2 or 3 times a year if I want, even to the iPhone 7. Costs me zero, but it does extend my obligation to pay for the phones for another 2 years. Considering I was with Verizon for 15 years and I'm quite happy with T-Mobile, it's not an issue for me.
Yes, so I'm not out $700 to get a new one. I pay the same thing as I did last month and the month before.
Well, eventually you will have to pay that $700 for a new one. You're always committed to buy the phone outright. You're just paying 30 bucks every month to delay that purchase.
Nah.....one of my favorite hobbies is photography. Don't have a real camera, but love taking pics with my phone, everyday. Reading that this new camera, is amazing. So I'll be spending roughly $500 for a new phone.
