Maybe, but my thought is so what . .. we are so inconsequential to the federal gov't who cares if I'm on some list. Take the time to monitor me . . . I flattered. I don't get that much attention at work or home.

See, hard to explain. I WOULD care if it made a difference who is right in this. Lie lie lie, you did it first blah blah blah......

I read about 2 cops holding a loose dog down while one of them slit its throat. I would hang those fuckers. But, they are like 85 million down the list of people who need a beating.

Giving a fuck about any of it is like slapping a guy for farting near you at the garbage dump.

That is the real problem. We are inconsequential to them. You lost your job because an illegal works more hours for less money? Tough shit.

Unfortunately that is true. If it was happening to millions, then maybe the gov't would care. If it is happening to handful, relatively speaking, they aren't going to care. Obama ran on a platform that he does care, but I don't think he does. He has his own agenda he cares about and I believe he actually thinks it is an agenda the middle class cares about, but is as out of touch with the middle class as all politicians seem to be.

I don't even want to venture a guess as to what he thinks he is doing. I could guess and guess and probably still not get it right.

Yes, that's the word I meant. It doesn't mean what you think it means, and was used on purpose.

I never clicked on the "common sense" link. It was the lead picture on Drudgereport, and I just copied the Image URL. I'm sorry if I got you all on a list, but I'm guessing we're all on lists due to our excessive and out of the norm usage of on-line forums.

It is happening to millions. Research the wealth gap in the last 6 years. Look up the actual workforce numbers, and not the UE rate that even the media can't report anymore because it's so laughable.

As for Obama "caring," if anybody else cared to actually read his books that he allegedly wrote, none of this should be a surprise. He has 2 pieces of literature in the public domain, and both happened to be best-selling books. Yeah, that's not suspicious, either.

Ok, I'll bite. What's suspicious about having best selling books? Does that mean he was born in Kenya?

That is strange because the writer on that site uses some terminology you use. Americans being dumbed down stuck out, similar types of conspiracies by the gov't, similar takes on issues of immigration, Obama.

But whatever . . . I got no problem with being on a list

This is how much people don't care about that bantering on the video . . . this has turned more into if the gov't is watching us . . . which I think a lot of people care about.

Wake up, America. I'd feel the same way had the IRS was headed by a major GOP donor and worked for a GOP administration, too.

With two published works, total, next to nothing from his days as the Editor of the Harvard Law Review, and two best-selling works of greatness in those two works, I think being skeptical isn't so far out there.

Oh, I suppose that was meant to be an insult.

Koskinen shouldn't have an agenda, other than telling the truth and not deflecting questions. He's the head of the IRS, not an elected politician.

    Respect for you is gone.

Ok, but what is it that you are skeptical of? Do you think they weren't bestsellers?

Both parties should be questioning the IRS. The Dems running interference today for an uncooperative witness who happens to be the head of the IRS should be a wake-up call for all Americans. I'm not saying the GOP is any better, but it was obvious that the Dems were covering for the IRS. That's just amazing to me.

Um OK . . .you OK? (can I buy you a beer?)

We been posting for years and respect gone huh?

Normally that would bother me but nothing I said I would take back (often there are things I wish I could take back)

You point out political contributions by whoever and I shrug and say I agree, he is a democrat being attacked by a republican. He is trying to protect the white house and the blowhard is trying to put on a big old show for voting republicans and coming across as a bully to me. Like I said . . . politics as usual to me.

BTW- if this loses your respect I should have lost it in the global warming thread, that is something I feel much more strongly about.

Did that website hit a nerve with you?
