They have been playing great right now and Monta Ellis has had over 30 the last 2 games...They have alot of different guys who can score every night and they are VERY deep. Also, Richardson has been playing like sh*t right now so in no way is he the "leader" of the team. Although their team is very talented and very deep, he is the leader and when you are the leader of a good team, you deserve to get the most recognition.</div>Knee surgery. When he gets back into form look for multiple 25 plus games.

As of right now he definetly is playing liek one. He has been the obvious leader of the team so far and has gotten GS off to a great start so far even with J-Rich not playing well. I hope the Warriors can keep playing like this because if they do Baron Davis will definetly be a candidate at the end of the year.

I'm saying this becausen Baron isnt the clear cut leader of the team, which makes it very hard to win the award. Also, the Warriors are doing well, but even if they do make the playoffs, they won't be high enough for Baron to win the award over other more deserving candidates whose teams are some of the bests in the league.</div>Chauncey Billups wasnt the clear cut leader of the Pistons, yet he was still in conention for the award. Also, nobody said anything about him winning MVP. The topic was is he an MVP "candidate", which he definitely is.
