White people have over 20 tv channels(ABC,NBC,CMT,VH1,DISC,TLC,A+E,MNSBC,CNBC,ABC FAMILY,etc.All we get is BET and UPN. stop complaining white people about black people having bet. you may not call it wet, but you have ALOT of white entertainment on tv. CBS, FOX, NBC and the rest simply did not provide that. It is the same thing with Telemundo and al-Manar in France. To say that whites should get a station too is crazy, simply because most of the shows (outside of BET and the rest of the minority-based stations) are built upon the White-American experience. It's not about "oh, lets separate from the whities because they oppressed us."

For many years, MTV refused to play videos by black people other than Michael Jackson (was he still black?) or Run-DMC.BET was the only national outlet for hood creativity.
