Quick was just on Cleveland ESPN radio, said that since the Chris Paul scenario doesn't appear possible, the Blazers might try to get Devin Harris. Also doesn't think the Mo Williams rumor is anything but a plan Z, if that.

I don't buy it. That isn't a big enough trade to save KP's job, and seeing how that is what he is trying to do, I believe either a big trade will go down, or nothing will happen.

Just found out he was gonna be on thanks to the twitter, and used my google skills to listen live over the internet. Took 15 seconds. I missed the first part of the conversation though.

Getting Devin Harris will give KP a better chance to save his job, then picking at #22 and #34. Devin
Harris is a very good player and much better than Andre Miller. Unless you have to give the house to get him, I like it as a plan if we can't get Chris Paul. I would rather see us try and get Parker then Harris, but I like him as a plan 'C'. A. Paul, B. Parker and C. Harris if we are targeting PG's.

No I don't think it does, at least if you hold the view I do. Harris just isn't a big enough player to do what KP needs to get done. That being said, it really doesn't matter what is going out.

My preferences are Parker, Nash, than Harris in that order. Perhaps I may even put Nash ahead of Parker because he is a tremendous shooter and we may not have to give up to much if Amare bolts and Sarver decides to be cheap.

Nash or Parker running the pick and role with Greg or Aldridge will increase their scoring with a few more easy baskets per game. I like Nash a lot, but he only probably has a two year window. Parker is much younger and comes from a defensive system and has done very well under Popovich even though he has been his whipping boy a lot.

While Nash is probably close to retiring, I don't think we would have to give up much other than like a Rudy and Bayless and draft picks. We would probably get to keep Batum and Aldridge since Sarver his cheap and would probably look to rebuild if Amare does indeed leave. That, in my opinion, is worth the two year rental to see if we can win it all soon. If not, we don't necessairly have to rebuild either.

I really like this idea and agree too that the cost would be very low for acquiring Nash. He would be far better with this team than Andre IMO.

Dre, Batum, Przy, and Jerryd for CP3 + filler was the deal in question.

We don't even rid them of Okafor. Gotta involve someone else from our side.
