Sorry you have to go through that..it's a tough thing to deal with. I had a last minute reconciliation with my dad on his deathbed and was grateful for it, but didn't expect it at all. Hope your mom comes around to show you the same love before passing! Just know that you are a good son. There's comfort in that at least.

Here’s an interesting take on Sharpe. This guy thinks Ant’s departure is going to lead to Shaedon growing into a star. His age 21 stats are pretty impressive.

Here's one of the graphs from that video.

When you watch these passes by Yang, does anyone not automatically think of Shaedon Sharp as being the recipient?
Average players become effective scorers as long as they fight hard to cut to the hoop.
It seems like Sharpe would be nearly unstoppable without tackling him while he's cutting or fouling him at the hoop.

I guess that makes for far more exciting dunk highlights.

I'm not sure it really means anything in terms of being an effective basketball player.

I remember hearing years ago, maybe it started with LeBron or Wade or Kobe or such, but being advised to dunk less to save the wear and tear on their bodies. Especially as they get into their upper 20s.

Well maybe with Grant starting over Sharpe we'll be able to see more minutes of YangSharpe playing together on second units.

it would certainly minimize sharpe's issues with his handle if he received the ball with a head of steam and a bag of hesitation moves that he could pull out.

I appreciate the statistical analysis, but what's with the strawman that Blazers fans are all upset and up in arms they traded Ant? Ridiculous.

I think this is an outside opinion girded by the 'fleece' takes around the jrue/ant deal. (remember when celtics fans caught up on ant tape overnight and declared him a certified hooper before they realized brad viewed him as a contract? good times)
