After last night, I would hate to see what a Napier/Curry/Crabbe/Aminu/Davis bench would do to us...

But this flies in the face of all the people who go all OCD if everything isn't merged into one topic!

If you've paid attention, you'll notice that I have never been one of those people.

I don't look at it this way at all.
I think Nurk can go all out knowing that if he gets into foul trouble, he has an awesome compatriot to sub in for him.

    Re the OP:

No. But Kanter is what the Blazers needed.

    Our center combo is devastating

Trio it is. Add in Collins and that's a lot of flexibility

I'm not sure what effect Kanter will have on Nurk? Worked well for one night anyway. But I'm intrigued by the Kanter addition. We're never going to matchup with the Warriors on the perimeter. But now, we may have a decided advantage in the blocks. If it means we win the rebounding battle, keep them shooting jumpers only, and limiting their fastbreak scoring, and have some go to scoring options down low when we really need a bucket....who knows? I think we next need to see how they play together. Maybe they did for short stints the other night, but it seemed they largely just subbed for each other.

I believe Layman and Collins are the future Forwards of this team. I just really hope we see “the jump” from Zach in year 3. If we do a Nurk/Collins/Layman frontcourt could be very formidable.
