Mike Brown took Cleveland to Finals and two 60+ win seasons. Also, in retrospect, he was a pretty decent coach for the Lakers. And you're right, LeBron is basically player/coach. Not sure if that's working though.

mike brown was good because of lebron james, not because he was a good coach.

brown got fired 6 games or so into one of the lakers season. he's not a good coach.

They fired him too soon. Brown took Lakers two second round in his first season with Lakers. And if Brown is good because of LeBron, why isn't Blatt good because of LeBron?

    They fired him, period.

because blatt has had all of 12 games for lebron to groom him. It took a season for brown to become Lebron's puppet.

I agree, Also Baseball is the only sport where you can look at stats and say this guy is better than that guy. I think it's great that Lebron isn't concerned with his stats.

Wasn't a smart firing. Especially when you look at whom they replaced him with.

I"ve always thought he was really over-rated. Anyway, individual play is over-rated these days, it's about how well your team is run.

LeBron's stats are fine. But he doesn't look like the Best player in the NBA. Seems like Curry, Lillard, and AD are battling for that title now. Rose and Durant would be in the discussion if they were healthy.

dude, brown didn't meet the unrealistic expectations of the lakers. it's really that simple.

until any of those can do it for a sustained period and/or have rings to show for it.. it's lebrons' to lose and a handful of games won't change it.

Okay. Obviously, he, Kobe, Wade, and Duncan have the body of work to claim greatness but Duncan isn't the best player in the NBA anymore. Not sure LeBron is either but most of you guys think he is so I guess I got the answer to my question.

I agree KingSpeed, as of now, Lillard and Davis are the best players in the league. Of course, James is in a bit of a slump, and Lillard will probably cool down at some point.

You are not the best player after a week or a month.

    No.

Hasn't been the best since Durant was drafted.

He has no leadership skills to speak of.
