I have Nurk fever but Dame is Dame... so no. Not a criticism of Nurk, but you're comparing him to Damian Lillard...
They should just call it Most Improved Offensive Statistics, which in no way proves that player made the biggest jump in ability.
Nurk is averaging this year almost exactly what he averaged during the Nurk Fever 20 games and for the 2nd half of last season. If it wasn't for him struggling at the beginning of last season then he's been pretty consistently good the whole time he's been here. The only major improvement is that he is much more comfortable running the offense at the top of the key (or at least Stotts allows him to do it more this year). He's cleaned up a lot of his bad habits but it's not Most Improved Player worthy when he's basically doing the same things just gradually improving on all of them. Edit: While it corresponds with a jump in minutes there is a huge difference in production with Siakam, Hield, and Fox this year.
I don't know where to post this so I will post it here. Golic and Wingo actually talked about the blazers today and Wingo forced them to. Had some analyst on and they were talking about the Lebron and the playoffs like they do almost constantly and Warriors and Bucks being in the championship. Out of the blue Wingo says what about the Blazers as a spoiler? Dame and CJ back court was mentioned but then they talked about Nurk being developed and becoming a premier center since leaving Denver then they gave a shout out to Layman as "coming along nicely" they talked a bit more on the acquisition of Kantor and Hood. All in All they gave they boys about 3 minutes of time which is about 2:50 more then they have given them all year.
