    I'm totally with you on this. At first, I was willing to move him. But after really thinking about it. I have talked myself out of it.

    Yes, ideally that would be the case, but I don't see us, or any team for that matter, as needing a true low post presence to win the title anymore. Okafor/Camby/Aldridge is still a very formidable front line, and you combine that with the best back court in the NBA.

    Let's put it this way, how many people thought Pau Gasol could win two championships as a team's best big man, before he was traded to Los Angeles? No matter how much you want to spin it, Kobe Bryant was the best player on the last two championship teams and was the player who contributed the most to their championship runs.

    Actually, I don't agree. Kobe was pretty bad, by his standard this last post-season.

    Well sure, if you consider 24.7 PER bad. And Kobe is the main focus of the defense, not Gasol.
