So having a discussion about a team that has a weak SOS and a losing record vs team better than .500 is jumping off the bandwagon?

And the emergence of Draymond Green during David Lee's absence. This team is different and better than last year's team.

The same people saying they have the same roster are the ones saying how much better we are because of more experience

You mean the same person. And I didn't say GS sucked. I said they weren't invincible. We aren't either.

Our core did reach second round last year though and lost to champs. Warriors got beat by a team that has never been in the WCF. Warriors made second round two years ago but Jarrett Jack started on that team for the big games they won. Jack is gone.

Had Lillard not made an off balanced 30 footer we may not have made the 2nd round. Its not like we killed them or anything

Hahahaha! I look back on last season and smile. What a great regular season and a 1st round playoff series for the ages.

You look back on it and are like, Meh... It's not liked we killed them or anything.

There's nothing wrong with that I guess.

Meh... it's not like we killed them. They could have won and then we would just be a first round loser.

Yeah, I found that link, too, KS. I've been looking for something from the NBA's site to corroborate it and the best I can come up with is this article:

    http://www.nba.com/features/seedingprimer07.html

    I sit corrected.

Doesn't make much sense to me. What's the purpose of seeding if it doesn't necessarily net you home court advantage in the first round?

I agree, but I also would hate to be the team with the better record and have to play the first round on the road.

It's like looking at the Eastern Conference and how shitty their bottom 4 teams are.

Yeah, but supposedly the Division champs getting a top 4 seed is supposed to offset for the fact that some divisions may be tougher than others and result in a worse record since you always have to play the other teams in your division 4 times.

Aldridge destroyed them in the first two games on the road and Dame finished them off. Didn't need a 7th game. Solid series win. More impressive than all those 7 game serieses.

I guess the Bulls' third championship doesn't matter because they needed a Paxson 3 to win the series. Or the Bulls' 5th championship when they needed a Kerr shot to win it. Or worse, their 6th championship where Jordan got to foul Russell and travel in order to hit the game winner. All of them in a 6th game.
