    Durant makes mega bucks and he would naturally prefer a large market after OKC. Otherwise he may really want to stay on a team that always sells out IMO. Miami or Orlando would be a good landing spot for him. It would be great to have him here but that seems improbable.

    The only way I can see Durant leaving now is if the OKC media completely vilifies him and runs him out of town.

    Things have already gone well enough for the Thunder that I think there's essentially a 100% chance that Durant signs a one-year deal with a one-year player option in Oklahoma City. He gets another year to see if the Thunder can break through and, if the results aren't good, he can decline his option and be a free agent in an even larger cap environment, plus he'll be a 10 year vet, so his max will be far larger than in this off-season. There's essentially no downside for him.

    My feelings haven't changed, even with all of the new playoff results. If the Blazer somehow trade for Boogie without giving up our starting backcourrt, then PDX would become interesting to me if I were KD - not otherwise.

    The easiest way to the finals is to play in the East...the West just decreases your chances of getting a shot at a ring..I think Miami will sign him in the end

    That would be good as it would put Whiteside on the market and I'd give Blazers a good chance to sign him.

    Any team that has Durant will automatically be second best team in the West and compete with Cavaliers. Celtics make most sense to me. They could trade a tonne of assets for Boogie and be immense.
