It won't make a difference for LMA in terms of negotiations.

As for Wes, his absence may have proved that he is more valuable, but his injury will be a factor for other teams who might have otherwise driven up the price. But overall, no it has not helped or hurt.

AAA just has not had the opportunity to increase his value.....yet.

Rolo will get paid because of the position he plays, but I just can't see him getting more than 12-13. This series has not helped him. Not sure it has hurt them though. I just can't see other teams paying him more than us. His value does not show up in the box score.

Absence or presence and perceived value to other teams means squat when they would be making an offer to a guy with a 30% chance of never playing ball again, and very early in the rehab process to make that gamble.

Yeah, the injury/rehab window and the contract/payoff window don't line up well for Wes. Maybe Uncle Paul takes a gamble and pays Wes a decent amount for multiple years (not likely considering how many times he's been burned), and Wes plays it safe and accepts, or it just seems likely Wes goes for a one year or two year with option contract to up his worth.
