PG-Mark Jackson SG-Maggete SF-Harpring PF-Andrei Kirilenko(Seriously undersized but he can play there if neccesary) C-Brad Miller Bench-6th man-Raul Lopez, and the rest are Pavlovic,Ostertag,Jarron Collins,Stevenson and Arroyo.(They will leave Mo Williams on the injured reserve list. That's the best list possible for Utah. They may not get B.Miller. Do you think that line up can make the playoffs with Jerry Sloan as coach?
If the Clippers match Maggete Utah will be really bad. pg-lopez sg-stevenson sf-harpring pf-andrei c-ostertag thats the worst line up in the league.
Can Andrei play power forward? I would think that they would put Collins and Borchardt in the lineup somewhere.

i think the playoff streak is over for the jazz. i'm sure utah fans were ready for this once stockton and malone departed. they didn't have a productive off-season despite having the cap space. they will be rebuilding for a few years before they make it back. the west is far too talented for their current lineup to compete. they might actually be the worst team in the west.
And it's official, the Jazz are the worst team in the league. Maybe they should try to get Odom or someone.
You guys are acting as if the Jazz have NO ONE good on their team. Am I mistakin or do they have pretty good players in Kirilenko, Harpring, and now Stevenson. Yeah I don't think they will make the playoffs at all, but I know for a fact they will not finish with the worst record in the West. I think I would know as a Jazz fan who knows a little more about them and their other players.
hopefully odom will re-sign with Clips now that Maggette and Brand have stayed, which would leave utah in a bit of a hole.. Kirilenko, Harpring and Stevenson are good.. but u cant rely on making the playoffs on wether or not Stevenson will have a break out year or not.. like allnet said.. maybe if it was in the east.. definately not in the west
BallerAK47's right, we know our team and we have gotten to the playoffs with line ups that weren't that good. I dont think we will make the playoffs this time round though . But I think there are more chances Utah will make the playoffs than they will have the worst record in the West. BTW, ESPN says Utah are about to offer Jason Terry an offer sheet.
jason terry is a restricted free agent and atlanta will likely match the offer. the jazz have lost their leadership and harpring will not be the same player he was last season without stockton and malone on the team. AK47 i actually like a lot, and i think he has a chance to win the MIP this season. we finally get to see what kind of numbers he can put up as a starter and getting 30+ minutes. i'm still not sold on deshawn stevenson, he shows flashes here and there, but at best he'll have a decent season similar to, rodney white from denver. a trio of harpring, ak47, & stevenson doesn't really impress me at all, and i'm still trying to figure out why that impresses you? Last year the Jazz finished as the 7th seed and won 47 games. However, so many teams below them have surpassed Utah in talent. Suns, Rockets, Sonics, Warriors, & Grizzlies are all better and will fight for the Jazz's vacancy in post-season play. The only 2 teams left are the Clippers & Nuggets. The Clippers have a better team on paper, but we need to see how this team functions now that most of the young stars are signed to long term deals. The best chance the Jazz have is to beat out the Nuggets to avoid being the worst. The Nuggets have had a disappointing off-season to say the least. Their only move was basically replacing Juwan Howard with 1st Round Pick Carmelo Anthony. The Nuggets still have a lot of holes, but the potential is there. Melo, Nene, Skeeta, White, & Savovic is a nice young group and could surprise if they gel right away. The Jazz have the benefit of having Jerry Sloan, who is one of the best coaches in the league. However, the team lacks the talent and athleticism to beat most of the teams in the West.
I never said a line-up of AK, Harp, and Dsteve alone impresses me I just said they are very talented players What I was making an argument for was that there are actually good players on the Jazz Obviously those 3 aren't going carry the Jazz to the playoffs alone, but if they had talent around them they would be really good. But certainly AK, Harp, and DSteve impress me, MAJORLY! I never said however that they'd make the playoffs
