I don't mean Jax is a bad teammate. I agree, he is probably one of the best teammates around. I don't think he'd ever turn on his teammates, or ever be bad for player chemistry. What I mean about the locker room and him being a head case is about management. His quote, which was, "I won't be comfortable going into this season knowing I have to play this whole season being the fifth highest-paid and not get an extension. I would not be happy," makes me think he would become resistant, defiant or negative towards ownership and possible management if he doesn't get what he wants. But that's typical for many NBA players (which is sad, IMO). They are in the driver seat in this regard, for some strange reason.

I know Jax will be a great brother to all of his teammates while he's here. But I can see him getting frustrated towards management, and if that happens it wouldn't set a good example for the young players who are learning how to conduct themselves in the league. If they see that it's okay for big brother Jax to bad-mouth Cohan, for example, that's planting a seed for a negative team culture. I just hope that doesn't happen.
