How so? You've still yet to verbalize what is insulting about it. What derogatory characteristics are implied by application of that term (or inferred by you from its use)? Can you name at least one, please?

Since as a stand alone word, it has no meaning, unless you take the word to mean a musical instrument. Then it would not make sense in the uses.

So therefore we can surmise in the usage, of his and other Trump haters, that it is intend to insult Trump supporters.

When they say Trump Supporter, perhaps in a sentence dripping with hate, but no problem, no insult taken. After all, it is a truth I will not deny.
Then we have TrumpCock Suckers and Trumpet or Trumpets. I take it these are synonyms meant insult the despicable Trump supporters.
When they say Trumpettes, then that seems to imply a different meaning, softer, more like synchronized followers of Trump. Not positive, but not insulting either.

That is my take, and like I say, I would be pleased to find I am in error. That the term really is intended to convey good will to the spot on Trump supporters.
But we see no correction, several days now and no correction, so it is an intended insult by default. In spite of @SlyPokerDogs arbitrary opinion.
Like I said to him and you before, the same insults do not always apply to liberals and conservatives in the same way.
When they are called snowflake, it triggers. When I am called snowflake, it makes no sense. However, I never use the term or Libtard either.
I don't really relate to the first, and second makes me cringe. I do like fool though, when it applies.

    Newsflash:

    I invented the term Trumpet.

Yes it's a personal insult when used personally.

When talking about a group of them that aren't in the forum I think it's completely fine.

I don't see any use of it (in this forum) to describe Trump supporters prior to Sly's thread that is linked at the bottom of this one and dated 5/26/17.

Still I ask...what derogatory characteristic is implied in use of the term? Since you're taking credit for its invention, surely you can help me out here.

    Trumpets blow

    Trumpets have no brain

    Trumpets are cold and unfeeling

Trumpets are full of human spit

Trumpets get fingered on the regular

    Trumpets sound better muted

Pretty much this. I don't have much respect for people who continue to support this president.

For the record I stopped using the term a long time ago.

Since @bodyman5000 and 1 follows my posts he would know.

I do. I said the people here have integrity. I'd have tagged you if I thought otherwise.
