    1. Myers, Ezeli and any one of our small salaries (Quarterman, Napier, connaughton), would work.

Brook Lopez would not be the worse guy we could come up with. His defensive real plus/minus is only -.0.39 and his fg% allowed at the rim is pretty average, better than Noel and Porzingis last year and only a little worse than Whiteside's. He developed a three point shot this year, making 35% on five attempts a game. great free throw shooter. not much of a rebounder for some reason.

My only problem with Brook Lopez now is that this season he has fallen in love with the 3pt shot. I guess he would fit right in with Stotts as his coach.

No they should give US a pick to take Chandler...

Those clamoring for Chandler don't make much sense to me... I get it that he's better than Myers but he's got a lot of mileage on those legs and, simply put, on the downhill slope of his career.

They might actually do that although I doubt it. Unless you offer both picks, they will not take that deal, we are basically dumping three big men who are quite poor on them, though they could easily write off Ezeli and use Davis for rotation, try to develop Leonard. I would imagine they will want something better but Lopez is not worth giving up Harkless and pieces for. Maybe Aminu? Aminu would actually be an interesting one for them.

I like Brook Lopez. I know his defence is not great, he doesn't rebound that well either but he's just so likeable and so good to watch offensively.

If we could have a PF with some SERIOUS rebounding and defensive skills, I would welcome Brook Lopez in Portland. His defense won't be worse than Mase's. And he brings offensively enough talent to take some pressure of Dame and CJ.

Is Aminu enough at PF to overcome the rebounding liability Lopez is? Not so sure. If we can get him what would it cost? Could another trade be in the pipe to get some defense and rebounding of the 4 spot?

But Lopez is definitely a clear upgrade.

Aminu's defense and rebounding is good

Aminu's rebounding is good for a small forward not for a power forward.

But... Wasn't rebounds an defence our biggest problem? Don't we have enough "so good to watch off" guys?

OFC Brook would be nice to get ball under the basket, but we need Rodman in this case.

Nothing imminent but a couple of 'friends' with good sources in other NBA cities have said Portland has made inquiries. Neither of what they were hearing is any of the reported rumors we have all heard so far. One of them made no sense to them or to me but they said the source was solid as to the discussion.

I know that's not a lot to go on but they asked for confidentiality.

That's actually a ton of information when you think about it haha, and just means we are going to have to get more creative in our thinking...

There is no way in hell the Sixers would do that trade. But to say that WE wouldn't do it, is outright crazy.

(Of course, if we did, Ben Simmons's knees would explode.)

The one that made 'no sense' made so little sense that you would think there would almost HAVE to be a secondary deal done if that was the first move. If that was all that happened, it would leave fans scratching their heads big time.

Do you at least know/can confirm what position they are targeting? I'm hoping it's a PF or C....

So that seems to be saying we are NOT looking at Noel, Whiteside, Milsap, Okafor, Lopez, Butler and Bogut?

Sooo, we still could be looking at Ibaka, maybe Dwight Howard and some guy at a position we have no need for?
