"All of this computer training will pay off once we have electricity."

Also, all of their mouse pads look like Berber carpet samples.

A company with the resources of Sony can't determine for sure who is responsible for this - and make their life miserable?

So now we are allowing other countries to dictate our freedom? Drop a bomb on that fucking place and make it a divot the size of Kuwait

We haven't allowed anything. A Japanese owned corporation is the one who pussed out.

Wow, I'm so far removed from torrenting that I had no idea TPB was shut down. It was a log time coming.

What if there was going to be a global release of a movie about murdering Obama? We wouldn't be upset? The added wrinkle is that he is seen as a Deity there, and he's a loose cannon with a nuclear stockpile.

This movie was a world-class, shortsighted, dumb idea.

There have been movies about killing the president of the USA. There are a few countries in the world that don't like us.

What, the "imagination" one about what the future would look like if Bush was assassinated? That was controversial as well, but I believe it was independently distributed, not a major studio feature film to be released everywhere.

You just can't expect to make a movie like this and not face some sort of backlash. Its inflammatory hate speech against North Korea. Not saying they shouldn't have the right to make it, but they shouldn't act shocked when Sony got owned as hard as they did.

    I wouldn't be mad, it's a movie. It's fake.

No, I'm talking about movies made in other countries never intended for an American release.

It's just not the same as a Hollywood, A list, star-studded, worldwide release of a movie about assassinating a living foreign head of state. It sounds funny at first blush, but a tad of analysis -- especially of the country in question -- should have quashed this after the pitch meeting.
