    so if they can average 7.50/stream, why the hell would you ever release exclusively in theaters?

    Google, Apple, etc (the site owners) get 30% of each sale. The rental was 5.99 which works for this movie but wouldn't work for all movies. In a movie theater the theaters cut is only 5% of each movie (which is why popcorn and soda are so damn expensive).
