Considering that the first sentence says it's a 9-month old, yet she went on another rambling rant, I'd be questioning the intelligence of my friend.

Ouch, that's a tough mentality to have with a friend. I've made worse reading mistakes than the first line of a sentence posted in the OT section of a basketball forum. I would like to believe I could be loose around my friends without fear making a mistake and getting judged. Hopefully you know we can't all be perfect.

    With friends like you . . . :)

Someone who isn't going to bother reading the first sentence shouldn't put so much effort into such a rant. That's what I take from this.

If you're not going to put any effort into reading the first sentence (hell, first five words), why put so much effort into a rant about the article. Not putting crandc on blast, but I just kinda find it hilarious. What was she missing? Uh, she missed the entire article. She missed the entire point of the thread. I see people get "beat up" on here all the time for commenting when they clearly did not really read the article and/or posts. They get blasted - this is just par for the course. It's not worth getting worked up over or beating someone up over, but it actually IS pretty hilarious.

I agree it's funny. I just disagree with the whole judging someone's intelligence over something like that. If they have been your friend for a while, you know their intelligence level. Giving a friend shit about it is one thing, questioning their intelligence in a serious manner seems harsh for a friend, IMO.

But I'll try and learn my lesson here as I am guilty of skimming and responding. Didn't think it was a big deal, but apparently it can be.

Of ffs. I was using hyperbole. crandc obviously is intelligent. Misguided and angry quite often, but intelligent.

OK, I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic when you said:

Considering that the first sentence says it's a 9-month old, yet she went on another rambling rant, I'd be questioning the intelligence of my friend.

Good to know you were kidding.

They're in Pakistan. It's about as isolated from America as anyone can get.
Leave them the fuck alone and they'll leave us alone.
