True, they have weapons as well...but the Pats D might put their foot down and it won't be so much of a shootout, especially if its in NE.

I'm talking playoffs BTW, not regular season.

I'm pretty sure that November 4 game will decide home field in the playoffs.

We can say that with confidence in week 4....let us not forget that any "playoff" team has a decent shot. Pittsburgh was a wild card, beat the Colts, and went on to win the Superbowl a very short time ago. That team is mostly intact last time I checked.

So much could happen between now and the end of the season. A couple of freak snow plow injuries and the whole complexion of the AFC race could change.

Just curious. Why didn't the Pats D put their foot down when they were leading 21-3 in last season's Championship Game?

I've noticed that none of the Patriot fans have answered this question. What's up with that?

I suspect that all the injuries in the secondary had a little to do with their problems. Also, the phantom interference calls that the Colts have been getting in the playoffs for the last two seasons didn't help. (The one on Ellis Hobbs was particularly egregious.)

After watching the Patriots destroy the Cowboys, I think that nothing short of a Brady injury can stop the Patriots this year. It's pretty sick...

I used to cheer for the Patriots as my "AFC Team" back in the 80's, but at this point, Brady and the Boyz are approaching Montana/49'ers and Aikman/Cowboys on my NFL sh*t list.

It's just not fun to watch a team that can't lose...
