I suggest you look into better things for enlightenment than looking at a post in Russian backwards in a mirror.
"the kid"? rotflmao! as much as you are up trumps rear I would have thought you knew how to read Russian. Can we now end this worthless drivel?
Even CNBC, that bastion of conservationism, can't resist getting in on all the fun... https://www.cnbc.com/2019/12/06/us-nonfarm-payrolls-november-2019.html
The ones where I live seem to still be supporting him. And it’s not simply because they are stupid. They watch their finances closely. I don’t think loyalty to a president is more important to them than their livelihood. Clearly they feel they are better off with him than they would be otherwise.
They might feel that, but if so it would be evidence that they are stupid. It's very clear they aren't better off now - that's why Trump has had to spend billions on new subsidies. What maybe you meant was that they feel that they'll be better off in the long run, after some short-term pain. That's at least a plausible thing for them to think, although very possibly very wrong. barfo
^^^This...I'm smack in the middle of farm country down here...and believe me, the farmers I'm related to and have talked to, are pissed at Trump.
A recent report from the American Farm Bureau Federation says the number offarms filing for bankruptcy is up 24% from the previous year. It's the steepest rise thefarming industry has seen in years, and the total farm debt for 2019 is expected to hit $416 billion, a record high.
Nonetheless, they still appear to be supporting Trump. At least, according to this report: https://www.cnbc.com/2019/08/07/us-...g-farmers-but-theyre-sticking-with-trump.html
From your article. Still, it’s too soon to tell how China’s decision to stop buying U.S. agriculture products will affect that support.
Yeah, such fun. It's the economy, stupid https://www.thestranger.com/slog/20...s-missed-44-of-us-workers-earn-18000-per-year
Nice if you like low paying jobs. https://www.forbes.com/sites/jackke...this-really-a-strong-job-market/#4254acee4fd1
Nonetheless, when someone is working, they're now in position to land a better job, if they want one. Ya gotta start somewhere.
But unless actual NEW jobs have been created, sometimes the person who may have moved to "a better job" is simply replacing a position vacated by someone else...and using that premise, the job numbers aren't likely to be affected very much, if at all.
