What's humorous about this post is that you, yourself, are kind of whining about me and my supposed whining. I also find it funny that you chose that particular post to complain about. It ws a simple counterpoint to the belief that we could screw things up and miss our window if we make a bad trade. All I said was that the same could be said for not doing anything. There was a thread a while ago where we started talking about teams that have won building through the draft. Every team has added an important rotation type player either through free agency or trade. I don't want the team to make a bad move, but sometimes making no move is a bad move. I think all of us would agree that despite some of our bitching, KP has a great eye for talent. I don't see him making the same mistakes the Bulls did when they had all of their youth.
I hear you, however criticizing KP and staff for doing this or not doing that is kinda like TV politics, it really is worthless because the critics have far less than perfect information. I just get tired of people complaining because things don't go the way they envisioned it, sorry to single you out of the entire fan base, it seems your part of a majority... on here at least
This one is madnified because it's not just what some of us have envisioned, it's what KP has told us all for 2 years. Something will get done. I would assume Miller. I think he is an upgrade, but I get why some people may not.
I have stated this in several posts, but I think Portland was still in the hunter role last year. I think this year will be different. They made it to the playoffs, and now will be taken more seriously. I thin last year teams and players considered them also rans. A good team, but nothing to be too concerned with. This year we will be picked by a lot of national media to finish very high, and as silly as it might seem, players read those things.
You are missing the point. Of course he would do it right now. I don't think he would do it during the season.
Then he has really lost it. I hear people say KP would turn down Outlaw and Bayless for Sessions or Outlaw and Bayless for Wallace and I just don't get it. That is exactly the kind of trade he is looking for totally uneven in Portland's favor. The thing is other GM's don't value our players that highly and no one on this board, or apparently KP, wants to give up real talent for talent. I find that frustrating.
