The Milwaukee Bucks welcomed back one of their young stars Wednesday night, only to lose another.

Jabari Parker tore his left ACL during the Bucks’ 106-88 loss to the Miami Heat, exiting on the same night that Khris Middleton returned to the lineup after suffering a torn hamstring in the offseason.

Parker’s left knee buckled as he drove past a pair of Miami defenders, immediately raising concerns that the budding star, who played in just 25 games as a rookie before tearing the same ACL, would be out long term.

“He knows,” FOX Sports Wisconsin’s Jon McGlocklin said as Parker’s teammates helped him to his feet.

The Bucks initially dubbed the injury a sprain, but those fears were confirmed Thursday morning, when Parker underwent an MRI.
