So Blazersedge had an article with Jabari Young talking about Aldridge? Ugh, I'm not clicking that link, since those 3 are all anti-Blazers. We respected Aldridge, until he lied to the whole fan base, went back on his word, left our team high and dry, and signed with a conference rival, sending us to the NBA cellar. He doesn't care about our franchise. Look at that pathetic excuse for a "thank you" letter that was most likely written by his PR team. So now we don't care about him.
This place has really grown. I posted this topic at 9 pm and it's going to have over 1,000 views by midnight, Denny makin' bank.
Proto-Blake! Fun Fact: in 1998-99, before we traded him, Crotty had a 37.0 PER for us, with an ORtg above 150, and a DRtg below 95.
Look at all of the Twitter comments of people with such low standards, he only helped them get to the second round once in nine years and that's enough for most people?
I don't think it is. If he would have stayed and eventually retired here, I would have retired his number even if ever only got us to the second round. But I question just how much was his heart in it and I do have a problem with the way he left this situation. I don't hate the player but he did stretch the truth a year ago when making his statements. I just wouldn't retire it.
I'm one post into this thread and all I can say is NO FUCKING WAY does LaMarcus Aldridge get his jersey retired. The moron who wrote that should be fired for incompetence. G'night.
I wish I could "like" this post twice. I also wish I could look Mr Young in the eye and tell him how I feel about him kicking Blazer fans when they are down. While I'm at it - I might as well wish for a pony!
Don't worry. I "liked" his post for you. But those other things you're wishing for, I'm no genie. Lol
Jabari is now pushing buttons. That NBA 2K15 clip he retweeted of LMA in a Spurs uni wasn't necessary.
