Rumor has it, LeBRON is a reserve for the all-star game

i heard through a very valuable source that LeBRON James is gonna be named a reserve for the eastern conference. i didnt boozer and z are kinda long shots. A new rule says that james has to play in the rookie game and the all-star game. have a good day.

If your source is correct, his selection is well-deserved. LeBron has exceeded the hype and deserves some all-star run.

Keep it in mind, when Kobe, KG, T-Mac, and AI was a rookie he didnt average that much minutes like LeBron did

It will be well deserved if he makes it. I'm just glad he didn't get voted a starter.

I'm usually against rookies playing in the all-star game, but I gotta admit, Lebron deserves it as much as anybody...I'm glad he's also gonna play in the rookie game, should be exciting...

If left out, James will not pout

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">All-Star reserves to be named today

Another LeBron James controversy could be on the horizon.

There are likely going to be some differing opinions this afternoon when the NBA releases the names of the All-Star reserves headed to Los Angeles in two weeks.

Will the super rookie sneak in ahead of an established star, inciting the purists?

Or will he be passed over by the Eastern Conference coaches who don't deem him ready, likely inflaming many of his fans and those who want to watch him play on Feb. 15?

Tracy McGrady and Allen Iverson have been voted in as starters and logic indicates Jason Kidd, Baron Davis and Paul Pierce will be added. Whether James' name finds its way onto the seven-player list will likely be one of the topics of the day.

``I really, really don't care one way or another,'' James said after the Cavaliers practiced Monday at the MCI Center before departing for tonight's game at Detroit. ``I think I should be in. I think I am deserving, but it's not going to bother me if I don't get in.''

    So he says.

    Of course, as I do.

Fact is, Cavs are winning and James has the all star numbers to back it up.

If he is not selected, I will be very upset, what more could he actually do, ya know?

I think he should. He's putting up some of the best numbers by a rookie, ever.

I personally think the All-Star game will be boring w/o James. He is basically NBA's story of the year. It would be great for ratings.

LeBron was SNUBBED! He should be there, not many rookies turn head like this guy and he has numbers to back it up.

They should leave Redd out and put Bron in... I mean c'mon ... Look at the stats :
    Lebron
    PPG 20.8
    RPG 5.9
    APG 5.9
    SPG 1.48
    BPG .70
    FG% .414
    FT% .757
    3P% .273
    MPG 40.2

    Redd
    PPG 22.1
    RPG 5.1
    APG 2.3
    SPG 1.04
    BPG .06
    FG% .445
    FT% .870
    3P% .370
    MPG 37.6

Redd only leads in shooting percentages and points... 'Bron is robbed from an all-star spot... Plain and simple...

I can't believe James not an all star

I don't know how the coaches can snub lebron and not put him on the all star team! lebron has been doing awesome this year with overcoming all the expectations the media has put out for him. He has surpassed all the hype they put out there for him, the guys is only 19 years old and look what he is doing in the nba. I think that it is a travesty that he did not get selected as a reserve. What do you think??????
