There were minutes for Barton last year. Our bench sucked. Stotts messed up by not playing him.

By the way, Jarrett Jack is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Afflalo tired of hearing about the guy he was traded for, goes for 38. Where the fuck was that when we could've used it?

Right? I think we got screwed by his shoulder injury during playoffs.

Erm: no. I love me the People's Champ, but he's a lot closer to JR Smith than he is to either of those.

He is a lot better than he was, though, but there's a reason he's coming off the bench.

Are you serious? JR Smith is a one dimensional three point shooter. Barton does a little of everything averaging 16.8 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 2.6 apg, and 1.1 spg on 46% from the field, 39% from three, and 83% from FT. He's most definitely Denver's best player and will win Sixth Man of the Year.

    JR Smith 10.4 ppg 2.8 rpg 1.8 apg 1.0 spg, 37% FG , 35% threes and 63% FT

Batum 16/7/5 but doesn't nearly shoot as well as Barton. 42/37/85 shooting.

    Matthews 13/3/2 on 39/38/87 shooting

Plus, Barton has been the Nuggets go to guy down the stretch.

I'm happy with Barton's success because I like him but he's got a green light to shoot in Denver and still plays horrible defense. I think the fascination with offensive production is covering up the reason we traded him. Denver loves having Iverson light back on the court...wild, barely under control highlight reel Thrill!

2 minutes before half and the lakers are beating the Suns 40-16

Walter Tavares is a nice prospect.

    Porzingis: 7'1.25"
    Tavares: 7'3"

Splitting hairs here but the height difference was noticeable. The Knicks listing KP as being 7'3" annoys me.

Tavares is an oddity, much like KP, in that he is also very mobile for his height.

Losing by 20 to the Lakers can't be good for team chemistry...

It's not that bad when you consider PHX only had 22 pts at the half.

Golden State slipping (see above), and if Curry's leg problems are persistent...

(Of course "slipping" is relative here. Would that we should slip up to fourth.)
