I know it's only been 2 games but....I was just looking at Campbell's situational statistics and he has shown to do better throughout the course of the football game (better to end then game than starting off) which is very important because a lot of guys fall apart when they need to be doing their best at the most crucial time of the game.On first down he's shown to have a 33.3 rating, 2nd down a 95.7 rating, 3rd down a 107.8 rating and fourth down a 118.8 rating. An upward slope of success that I don't think is coincidental.Again...Beginning of the game, 1st Quarter 68.8 rating, 2nd Quarter 55.3 ratingEnd of the game, 3rd quarter 100.7 rating 4th quarter 95.0 ratingI just thought that was interesting...

It could have just been successful halftime adjustments the past 2 weeks that may or may not keep up, it may just be that he got out on a terribly slow start to those games, could be any number of things. After about 10 Games or so you'll get a more accurate idea on what kind of QB he will be.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (venom)</div><div class='quotemain'>It could have just been successful halftime adjustments the past 2 weeks that may or may not keep up</div>In 9 games with Brunell, we scored 0 points in the 3rd quarter (against some of the worst teams). Campbell, in 2 games, threw a TD both times in the 3rd quarter (against Tampa Bay and Carolina).

Sometimes the coaches just need to go with the fans on things. We were so right at the beginning of the year when we said Campbell NOW.

It's not impossible to think that they had a fluke halftime adjustment one or two weeks that is cause for such a big turnaround. We're talking about a minimal sample size here, like proclaiming somebody a 'future all-star' after having 20 At-Bats in the Major Leagues. It's just way too soon to get an idea on what kind of player he is going to end up being.

All it is, is looking at recent statistics and establishing a logical prediction from them...
