<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Banks:</div><div class="quote_post">There's a reason why Shaq is dominate. Oliver Miller is not dominate. Shaq has skills and Miller doesn't. However the reason why Miller bounces out of the league is because he's out of shape and fat. Shaq on the other hand is pure muscle if you actually watch him play you would know that he's not fat.

I don't see any or much fat there.</div>
Ok do me a favor you or somebody. Post a picture of Shaq in his rookie season and now. See the difference in does two. Shaq was pure muscle then now he is not pure muscle he is 50-50 with muscle and weight at best. If he was pure muscle his knees would not be breaking down because of the extra weight he is carrying around.

Then if he is in such great shape why was one reason the Lakers choose to build around Kobe now instead of him because of his lack of work ethic and the fact he was out of shape.

Then how is he athletic. He is big and strong (not pure muscle). He sits under the rim and waits to get the ball remember a reason they put the three second lane violation in the game was because of him.

He is not pure muscle then compare him to Oliver Miller?!?! Come on compare him to someone like Yao. Yao does not have fat in his body as you can see yet he is 310 pounds. Shaq does have fat in his body and if you do not see that your crazy. Compare someone like Karl Malone to Shaq look at Karl Malone his body is pure muscle Shaq's body is nothing like that.

Obviously he does have fat in his body, if he doesn't then he's un-human. I can guarantee you that he has 12% of fat or less, which is what a true fit athelete shold be.

If people gain weight it doesn't mean that they've gain fat. Shaq's gain weight was the muscle he added on.

Look at Carter when he came into the NBA, he was around 208 or so. Now he's 225, but it doesn't look like he's gain fat, his bigger, and he's gain muscle. Look at MJ, He gained about 30 pounds from his rookie season until his last and he didnt have much fat either. You can also look at Lamar Odom and Barry Bonds. They've gained a lot of weight through out the past few years but no fat. Anyways, I don't really care what you think of Shaq and if you think he's out of shape or not. Just try to stay on topic next time.

I am not even gona say anything about bonds *cough* steroids*cough*. Vince Carter and Michael Jordan gained weight, but they dont look fat you can tell its muscle they added. The same way you can with Kobe. I can guarentee that he has over 12% body fat. If he was a fit athlete why would doctors say his knees are breaking down because of all the extra weight he has put on. Not to mention why would he hire a personal trainer to get into shape and lose weight if he was already in shape. ANyone who knows shape knows he is not in shape and has not been probably since the 2001 season. I am a huge fan dont get me wrong, but how can you say shaq is in shape when he is taking so many steps to try and get into shape?

You're guarantee means nothingThe guys trying to lose weight because you're not as quick as you are when you weight 360 pounds of muscle than you are with 330 with muscle. I can go on about this all day, but then I'd be going from arguing about having Kidd over Cassell to Shaq and his muscle.

No where you noticing that we changed the subject completely as well. Anyway Shaq is tring to lose weight because he is out of shape. Ask a Lakers fan if you dont believe me. The ori=ginization even noticed that. He noticed that and so did his teammate Karl Malone and everyone around him. He is not really muscluar as he is just plain out big. He may be strong, but he does not have more muscle then fat and probably has alot of body fat. My guarantee means as much as yours does if that is nothing so be it. ANywya back on subject now.
