    - Just one day after 13-year Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle resigned his position with the organization, reports have surfaced that the Mavs owner Mark Cuban, and a group of 'trusted advisors' have already begun talks on finding Carlisle's replacement.

    Per ESPN's Tim MacMahon, that group, which includes Mavs legend Dirk Nowitzki, vice president of basketball operations Michael Finley, and others, have 'briefly' discussed the idea of former Mavs point guard, Jason Kidd, for the role.
