By Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc J. Spears, Yahoo! Sports 1 hour, 50 minutes ago tweet Email Print As badly as the New Jersey Nets have wanted to move underperforming point guard Devin Harris(notes), the sentiment is mutual: Harris has fully embraced the Nets’ intent to trade him, sources told Yahoo! Sports. After Harris pushed for the Nets to hire his former coach with the Dallas Mavericks, Avery Johnson, the two have had a difficult time working together, and Harris’ production has declined across the season. The Nets have discussed deals with multiple teams for Harris, with possible scenarios in the works with the Portland Trail Blazers and Dallas, sources said. Privately, Harris is hoping for a trade back to Dallas where he started his career, two sources familiar with his thinking told Yahoo! Sports. The Mavericks also have serious interest in a reunion with Harris.
Fuck, this era of twitter has taken an already ridiculous trade deadline time over the top. My head hurts and anybody with a credential and a twitter is just throwing random shit out there every hour.
The Nets are disappointed that they couldn't get their hands on Carmelo Anthony, but they aren't giving up on making a deal before Thursday's trade deadline. One Nets source said they are sifting through about "20 different scenarios" right now. No one but Brook Lopez is probably safe on New Jersey's rosters, but the player who continues to come up in trade conversations is Devin Harris. Dallas and Portland seem to be the most interested, but they aren't alone.

Seems like either way Harris is dealt before the deadline with the situation between him and Avery Johnson. I'm sure he'd be pleased as punch to go to Dallas to be Kidd's backup.
If you were the Nets and your choices were Caron or Andre and Pryzbilla (likely retiring) who would you want? I gotta say if that's all Dallas is offering then I think we may actually have the edge (for once).
Good first day after the long weekend as Tuesday goes by without an announcment of a Blazer trade. Only two more days for me to sweat through. Go Blazers!
If the Nets didn't exist, Woj and Spears would be out of work. It's hilarious at this point. Are they actually running the Nets, because their owner "never use computer"?

It's gotta be tough to be a Nets fan. You go from LeBron James to Travis Outlaw/Johan Petro/Anthony Morrow You go from Carmelo Anthony to Andre Miller or Caron Bulter. It's been a rough six months for Mikhail Prokhorov.
