    2 reasons for LaMonster:

    1) Worked on his post moves in the summer

    2) Roy's injuries gave him opportunity

    Andre is good, but I'm not giving him credit where it isn't deserved.

    Nope, he's been a playoff failure his entire career. Yet, he'll end up in the top 10 in career assists, barring injury.

    Longevity matters more than anything else when assessing a player. I learned that from John Stockton and you, Minstrel.

    Does it matter what I think? There is no way to know what would have happened without Miller.

    I do know the team won more games without Miller than they won with him, and I do know he got benched for crucial minutes of the two wins against Dallas.

    Those are facts.

    He's overrated, IMO. Rod Strickland is as well, fwiw.

    Well your opinion has led you to state that Miller hasn't "made a difference" in Portland and I think helping them get to the playoffs when half the team is injured is the very definition of "making a difference".

    Do you think they would have made the playoffs the last two years, yes or no? Don't dodge the question.

    Miller gets to to the Playoffs. Unfortunately he also gets you bounced in the 1st round. This franchise needs more than that.

    That wasn't the question. Papa seems to think that Miller made no difference in Portland, and I contest that we would have been a lottery team without him. That's the issue.

    I did answer the question. Miller has made no difference, IMO. Same results as the season before the Blazers got him, and with fewer wins and lower seeds. :dunno:
