first wesley is no point guard if he was a point guard we wouldn't have problems bringing up the ball but i do agree we have too many point guards rafer moochie lucas. but the thing is if this kid could be a steal we should nap him i mean if he is a steal he would be way better than much or lucas.

Teams that are BAD at point guard like Atlanta haven't even made any moves to acquire Williams. Toronto passed on him as well, signing Darrick Martin instead. How good can Williams be? He's had two tryouts with us and blew them, why give him another look? His agent and himself of course are saying good things about his recovery but he hasn't impressed any teams in tryouts. If he had, he would have been signed before the season even began.
actually locke your not 100% correct bout this issue. in the beginning of the season when he is 70% four teams offered him contracts raptors spurs rockets heat. But after tryouts and playing his body didn't feel good so supposedly he pulled out. But raptors even had the though of using him at starting pg and mike james at starting sg and peterson at sf it talked bout this in toronto sun. They say his game has transformed interms of skill and say now he shoots it a lot better and a lot more skilled. Of course i am like you and we won't no the truth until he steps on the court and shows us but i am sure the coaching staff and the gm can evaluate how much he can contribue to the team this season and if he can get that rust off i am sure they will offer him a contract. If he can't they won't.

Even more, I didn't hear anything about these teams offering Williams contracts. According to Raptors GM Rob Babcock, Williams wanted a guaranteed contract, and the Raptors didn't want to offer him one, and no one wanted to take a risk on him. If that were the case, offering him anything more than a non-guaranteed contract is a big mistake.
umm i am not sure but i read on toroto sun that those four teams offered him contracts i think u can search it up in their archive i am nto sure if its garenteeded or not

Both sides failed to agree on a suitable proposition, due to the fact that Toronto wasn't willing to offer anything guaranteed. Anyways, point is, Williams is too much of an unknown at this point for us to take a risk on. Getting him in for a tryout is a waste of time which could be spent scouting other D-League and CBA prospects.
actually why hasn't he thought of playing in the cba or nbdl for rest of season and than come back to the majors looking for a contract next year??? and you live in missassaga?? are you a player basketball name that i should no???? and man wut happened to ivan chiriaev
