i read a couple articles. they dont know for sure. the Bulls are gonna make an announcement about it today</div>

i answered that. they dont know anything for sure yet.

here's the statement made by John Paxson:
    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">
Everyone in the Bulls organization -- including Jerry Reinsdorf, the coaching staff and Jay's teammates -- are hurting for Jay and his family. The atmosphere at the Berto Center is one of shock and sadness. The last thing on our minds right now is basketball and the foremost thought on our minds is that of Jay's health. We respect the privacy of the family and as time goes on we will be waiting for the family and doctors to report to us on Jay's status. The thoughts and the prayers of the Bulls family are with them.

Jamal Crawford is a proven player against NBA competiton... you know people are already comparing Lebron to MJ and the only thing Lebron has done is school some kids in HS... MJ was the greatest and you cant compare a HS kid to him...

Regardless of what happens people in the media are going to crown someone the next MJ. Harold Minor was crowned Baby MJ, but he didn't live up to it. Kobe has been crowned the next MJ, every single person who can jump really high and plays SG/SF has been dubbed the next Jordan.

Also, what has Crawford proved so far against NBA competition? Nothing really.

A source close to Williams, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said while the injuries were not life-threatening, they do jeopardize the 21-year-old's playing career.

It's Bobby Hurley revisited. Sounds like the injury is very serious.

i thought he was smarter than that. motorcycles are stupid. this is really pissing me off. i want him to get better of course, but i really can't believe this happened.

CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls guard Jay Williams is listed in intensive care after undergoing pelvic surgery Friday, according to a source in a report in Saturday's editions of the Chicago Tribune.

Williams reportedly needed surgery to correct nerve damage in his pelvic area and might need reconstructive surgery on his left knee and several other procedures after crashing his week-old motorcyle Thursday afternoon.

While several team sources told the newspaper that the multiple injuries might jeopardize Williams' career, the unnamed source said he might only miss next season.

    PELVIC SURGERY
A pelvic injury ended Bo Jackson's career, I think Jay Williams's career is over, he will never be the same after damaging his pelvis.
