First off, I can't believe I'm making a seriousish post in a Mixum thread, but.... Rebounding IS Important, and the Blazers need to improve. However, looking at the Orlando game for evidence is kinda silly. The point of rebounding is to give your team more scoring opportunities than your opponent. In the Orlando game, that was accomplished - we have 10 more FGs and 3 more FTs (11.5 net possessions). The problem in that game wasn't rebounding - it was shooting. We shot 43.2%.
I would be curious at the difference between those teams and the teams they play in rebounds and if they were neg or pos as well as how many O rebounds per game. That is what seems to hurt the Blazers a lot is O rebounds. I'm really surprise LA gets off so easy when it comes to rebounds. Howard wasn't playing so you think LA would get more than 3 rebounds.
Looking at the mins last nite Wallace played as many mins as anyone except for LA so I don't know what the problem is.
The problem is Wallace feels betrayed . . . it's right there in the article. (I know this belongs in the other thread but it's locked)
