Battling for starting roles, Jesse Litsch and Marc Rzepczynski pitched in the same game for the second time. Litsch started and went three shutout innings, with one hit and four strikeouts. Rzepczynski faced eight batters in the fourth before being removed. He recorded just two outs while allowing three runs on five hits with a walk and a strikeout. Trailing 5-3 into the eighth, non-roster outfielder Kenny Wilson singled to centre, tying the game. In the ninth, non-roster outfielder Jason Lane and catcher Brian Jeroloman each singled home a run, moving the club's record to 2-5. The Jays play the Tigers in Dunedin on Saturday. JUNIOR MOMENT: In what Baseball Canada hopes will become an annual event, the Jays beat Canada's national junior team 11-0 at old Al Lang Field in St. Pete.
