Except Kendall Marshall, who some are calling the best passer the college game has seen since Jason Kidd.
Never said we should trade Nash for a pick. In fact we don't trade with Phoenix at all. You offer a contract and he says yes or no.
I'd be very comfortable offering Nash a two year deal- 12 million/year, he's got at least two good years left in him- then we can look elsewhere- but it'd get us back to the playoffs next year. I think the biggest difference between us this year and last year is really the point guard play- I know we don't have Roy, but he was injured for much of last year and i'd argue that we really didn't have him at his all star level.
This team is seriously lacking talent. Adding Steve Nash will not vault this team into contenders. We need to go the other direction and rebuild.
I'm calling it here. We miss the playoffs get awarded the #1 pick and NJ's #1 and we sign Dwill outright!
It's not that I have a crush on Nash. He's just the third best pg we have a chance at. Our order should be #1 d will, which is least likely to happen. #2 rondo, which could happen if we have a 4-6 draft pick #3 Nash signed outright if we don't get 1 or 2
